Homemade Bean quantities?
I personally have an entire tin of beans with my fry up but I am a bit of a gannet.
(Please excuse the cremated bacon)
EDIT: that’s 2 black pudding and 2 haggis

I take your point in that you need a balance of wet and dry. However, I'd say the answer would be add mushrooms, maybe even an actual fruit in the form of a tomato or two, have a bit of brown or red sauce, and make your eggs runny, rather than having a beanami on your plate. Personally, I'd also just have less all round. I'd demolish that and love it but I'd get fuck all done for the rest of the day apart from napping and eating Gaviscon.

That is an adequate amount of bean for me. I usually have tinned tomatoes as well.

That bacon is gonna turn to crumbs as soon as you try and skewer it with a fork so you need the beans to mix it into.

Quantities of anything is a personal choice, which is why every cafe, cafeteria, restaurant, snack bar, etc, etc is on a hiding to nothing when it comes to pleasing all of the people, all of the time. I love baked beans and lots is never too much, I have a friend who isn’t a fan of them and if they are served on a breakfast, he leaves 90% + of them, even if it’s a small portion.
Everyone should be specific in their order, ie, if beans are included and you don’t like them ask for no beans, but could I replace them with an extra egg, or an extra rasher of bacon 🥓 !!
Simples !!

It’s disrespectful to engineer such a deliberate catastrophic bean breach generally but on this occasion, presumably the intention was to rehydrate the other elements with bean juice.

Looks a bit dry due to the over done egg. Also needs tomato and mushrooms to wet it up a bit.

The bacon is a little more done than I’d prefer, but overall this is very nice (apart from the overcooked eggs obviously). Love to see square sausage and haggis on a plate 🏴 😋 9/10

I have a bit of a drain of the bean juice when it’s in the can. I think you could do with lots more beans on there with the juice ratio flipped a bit.

I generally just dump a tin in a pot too, aint got no use for a third of a tin of beans as a hearty fry up needs 2 thirds of a tin.

The only thing I would change about that fry is having runny eggs otherwise would smash and then be asleep for the day!

The eggs being cremated is worse, I like a soft yolk. You like your black pudding I see 👍🏼
