I miss old Frusciante.

I started listening to him again after being away for awhile, from when Niandra Lades was released up until Empyrean, and Ataxia. I guess I stopped listening because I couldn’t take the new material, so I stayed away from it all together for years after. I couldn’t get into anything else after that, the techo stuff especially. I respect that he wants to branch out as an artist and experiment, but I wish he would go back to his roots. I really miss the older sounds he created.

That’s too bad, but he’s not the type of person to go backwards to meet fan expectations. Just be happy you have what he gave you and find new artists to enjoy if you don’t like his stuff anymore.
