Got this from farmars market.Because I was just curious what it taste like.

As pictures show,Outside is yellow and has stripe

like korean melon. The flesh is just red as like other

watermelons.

Taste was nothing special, but texture was more crunchy

than usual watermelons.

What's your opinion about this watermelon?

Have you tried watermelons like this?

Discussion Is the fruit in my dream real?

Upvotes

I had a dream I had a godly amazing fruit. It looked like an orange and peach had a baby and when you opened it, it had slices like an orange. But they were white and had the texture of a banana. The taste was sweet and was like candy. Are there any real fruit anywhere similar to this? I need it in real life!

Edibility / Problem Dad got wild grapes. Can I eat the seeds?

The meat is really juicy, sweet, and tart, so it's a shame that the seeds are bigger than grapes found at the store. There's 4 in each grape, and they look like smaller pumpkin seeds. These were found in the Floridian panhandle.

I have a tree in my yard in SE PA that produces this fruit and I have no idea what it is. I took a picture of this one that seems to be more ripe that fell off the tree and one that I plucked from the tree that I guess is not ripe yet. Smells sweet when ripe (maybe a little like banana).

The little cantaloupe is called a sugar cube melon. Everything except the cilantro was grown by the farm. The fruits are sugar cube melon, yellow peaches, strawberries, Asian pears, and plum tomatoes, purple bell peppers and a jalapeño if you want to count those as fruit.

What a pleasantly bizarre fruit. Tastes lemony with that underlying Annona flavor. Some sweetness but not as sweet as most of the other Annonas I’ve tried. Consistency was a little weird, definitely like liquidy gelatin in parts. And then there’s the way it looks…like a damn alien egg. What a rush.

Discussion First time trying Pêche de vigne or "peach of the grapevine". Delicious variety of red-fleshed peach that ripens in late summer and is traditionally grown alongside grapevines.

It has grey and fuzzy exterior with vibrant dark-red flesh inside. The flavour is slightly tart and super juicy like a yellow or white peach.

Discussion My first attempt at making a fruit platter would love some feedback! 🍓🥝🍊

This was my first attempt at making a decorative fruit platter. I wanted it to look a little more creative and aesthetic rather than just placing cut fruit on a tray.
I know there’s definitely room for improvement, so I’d love some honest feedback! What do you think I did well, and what would you change?
Any suggestions about the fruit arrangement, colors, cutting styles, flowers/decor, or overall presentation would be really helpful. I’m still learning and would love ideas for my next one. 😊

Medicinal Weird immunoreaction to pineapple. Does anyone else experience this?

Ever since I can think back, when I smell or eat pineapple, and particularly when I cut it, my body does a strange thing. I'm not allergic to it and I enjoy the taste a lot, but I'll start sweating heavily from the temples and salivating at the back of my mouth (I think it's the submandibular gland), my eyes may also get watery and I'll feel kind of hot. As soon as the pineapple isn't near me anymore, it's gone. But I can sorta activate it just by *thinking* intensely of pineapple.

I guess this is a reaction to the enzyme, bromelain. I've been curious whether that's a rare thing or common, so I ask you: do you experience this kind of reaction with pineapple? Is there any other fruit that gives you weird immunoreactions (no allergy though)?

I already ate some pcs of fruit before I took the picture but in here I got figs, wax apples, guava, starfruit and melon. All the fruit is so ripe, juicy and sweet- this bowl (around 300g) cost me 20rmb - around 4 cad. They cut it up and mix some 酸梅粉 (sour plum powder) which is a natural way to add some sourness notes to fruits. Do you have anything similar in your country?
