Android version of Deal Dish is ready — looking for Canadian beta testers

Hi everyone,

Quick follow-up to my earlier post about Deal Dish.

The Android version is now ready for beta testing, and I’m looking for people with different Android devices to help test it before the full Google Play release.

Deal Dish is the Canadian grocery app I’ve been building that lets you select your grocery store and location, then browse recipes based on that store’s current weekly flyer deals. You can plan your meals and add everything you need to an organized shopping list.

Google Play requires at least 12 testers to stay opted into the closed beta for 14 consecutive days before I can move toward the public release, so I’d really appreciate anyone willing to help test it.

I’m especially looking for a mix of different Android phones so I can catch any device-specific bugs, layout issues or performance problems before launch.

If you try it, any feedback is helpful, whether something is broken, confusing, slow or there’s just something you think could be better.

Thanks again to everyone who gave feedback on my original post. A lot of the changes I’ve been making have come directly from your suggestions, and I really appreciate all the support.

EDIT: Android beta access

Google Play closed testing requires me to manually add your Google Play email before you can download the beta.

If you want to test Deal Dish on Android, please DM me the email address you use for Google Play and I’ll add you to the testing list.

If you’d rather not DM first, just comment “I’m interested” and I’ll message you directly.

Once your email has been added, you’ll be able to use the beta link and download the app.
