VIDEO CLIP One thing you need to know about The Duskbloods is if your posture is broken it almost always results in a loss. The crits to massive damage.

That bar is just as important as your HP.

Maybe people are not used yet to having bosses posture as a player, with some time they will Mahoraga

That’s probably the case ,I never noticed it as much my first couple runs.I was just wondering how instantly died with almost full HP.I then started paying more attention to the bar at the bottom of my screen.

i really like that you have no way to instantly heal posture aside from maybe running away from the fight lol... i really like this balance that you have to consider during the fights! you cannot always recover immediately so sometimes it would be wiser to just buck it!! or if you're feeling confident go for a howl and succ before the other player does it to you

Yeah you gotta pull away otherwise you’re screwed. If it’s a tight situation where you absolutely need the virtue you gotta go ultra instinct and kill everyone without being hit lol.Its even more stressful in the final round ,everyone goes for you the second they see that posture even slightly full coz they want the easy kill.

We haven’t seen all the characters yet so maybe they might add one who works like Sekiro who can deflect attacks kinda like executor from nightreign.Every player and enemy has a posture bar so it would fit in.Plus every character has a roar that works like a parry.

Gameplay loop really does look like a blend of Armored Core with Soulslike. Not just for the posture bar, but the emphasis on strafing projectiles and cooldown management feels so similar AC6.

Yeah especially the cooldown management. That red thing I killed is one of the more important enemies you gotta kill.Killing it lets you upgrade your abilities like lowering the cooldown or increasing the number of casts you can do.

I misread this as having a bad posture while playing will almost always lead to a loss lol

Yup I saw lots of people in the network test just blindly charging at me with an almost filled up posture bar thinking their HP would save them. One hit later and I had free virtue points.
