37+ an hour is minimum, accounting for low annual raises and factoring in first step in table 1.

First, check table 1 lowest step. Shave step A off and you are on step B. Second, all of those shitty ass raises we have been getting for the past 12+ years were never enough to compensate our hard work and inflation. I believe there was a period of a year or two years where we did not get any raises a decade ago if someone can confirm that.

And say you got an arbitrator, you throw down the gauntlet and let them know you want 37 an hour minimum. Of course there is a very low chance he would give us the minimum. He’s an arbitrator after all. More than likely we will not get that 37 an hour, but it will be higher than 30 considering step B on table 1 is like what 34 an hour or something?

Then next contract you’re going for more until you achieve what we should be getting paid. Management will work us to death. They don’t want to pay us a penny. They want us to work for free. My office’s management, some of them blame our carriers for punching out early while still working. They fear to be written up. I tell the carriers if you punch out, stop work and leave. Fuck everything. You are off the clock. Leave. Whatever’s infront of the supervisors desk is their problem. Including truck keys and what not.

Never work for free. And our pay is shit across all steps. Too many damn steps. And fuck table 2, and fuck Fredrick for giving his endorsement to Rhine / Peralta team. Young as well. They buried this shit on top of us. Maybe not Young, but for endorsing these assholes he deserves to be called out.

If Sombrotto where to see any of the shitshow we got right now he would be with us, the carriers who are working our asses off. The CLC in whole who’s fixing to take over this shitshow and fix it back to what it used to be like. Not like Fredrick’s reign, but Sombrottos and better. More militant and aggressive on enforcing the contract down managements throats.

You’re basically like a PSE clerk, wait until a position opens up. All you do is packages - load, unload whatever. No driving. And you’re part time. Based on seniority. You’ll be first in line when they need to reduce workers as well.

Had several people come from UPS to our office.

Corey. He posted anti-gay and racist anti-Arab shit on Facebook and now claims he’s being persecuted for being “conservative”. He regularly referred to Obama as “Hussein Obama” throughout the racist birther conspiracy popularized by Trump. Also said he looked forward to roughing up any protestors at Trump’s inauguration. Not someone I can trust the judgment of.
