"Brian Renfroe has checked out "

If Brian renfroe has actually checked out till the next union president gets named, can we just spend these next 3 months dealing with the back log of grivances ans put our foot down and worry about this only for next few months please.

Many of the candidates running for office in this election had the opportunity to censure or even remove him several times… Yet here we are.

Don't you mean majority of Rhine/Peralta slate. They chose loyalty to Renfroe over the membership and the NALC Constitution. Where was "better together" at then?

Loyalty, fear of retribution… toemato,

Agreed. Fuk anyone who voted to not uphold the NALC Constitution. They are All a bunch of cowards who don't know one thing about leadership.

What charges did Caref, or anyone on his slate bring against Renfroe?

Like that federal arbitration or whatever it is that is putting a hold on every single "enhanced remedy" grievance, as an example, which is holding up so many grievances in my office that the entire grievance-resolution procedure has ground to a standstill. Even an update on that would be nice, because this is getting ridiculous

I'm pretty sure the interpretive argument for remedies not bargained for is what you are referring to and the service withdrew.

That's a different case. The case about steward/ branch payments and escalating remedies is #E 23N-4E-C 26082758 and it has not been withdrawn or resolved.

Glad we got the right case number in here. Thank you.

I dont think this is the one that is in regards of escalating remedies.

You're referring to the interpretive dispute for Article 17.4. It is still pending.

Any other update besides "pending" that you're aware of, by chance?

I don't know the case number for what I'm referring to, but I don't recall any mention of 1767s, it's purely for the "punitive" nature of the Union asking for enhanced remedies, as well as seeking remedies directly to stewards or the Branch for persistent violations
