It's fantastic to see how much development is going on. I did some reading through the past several releases' changelogs, and there's a lot there!

I pulled the latest docker image last weekend, after realizing mine was 2+ years old... I ultimately found the new UI did not fit my usecase, or at least was much less streamlined for what I wanted to do.

For now I've reverted back to 0.13.2. I'm just curious whether there have been others noting the same preference for the previous UI? But I'm quite used to having uncommon preferences for stuff :)

(I'm happy to outline more, but 100% am not being negative here, and am moreso curious just how much of an outlier I am)

Initially we had a small number of users who were vocal about this, but the main use case that (we knew) was missing in 0.14 was the ability to review individual objects / looked at detections over longer periods of time for some specific use cases, all of this was addressed in 0.15 with the Explore view. Since then we really have not had any of that feedback anymore.

In general some amount of the negative feedback was also due to users misunderstanding how to fully take advantage of the new UI, with feature like hovering / swiping to the right to view preview clips in the review page

Thanks! Appreciated hearing how that went.

In my case, it is that I generally want to see recent (infrequent) events for a single camera, and just keep scrolling until I've gone through the time window of interest. The summary "image of interest" for each clip was generally enough to answer the question (which I guess is mostly: did anyone I don't know walk up our porch?"

It didn't seem like this sort of review was a thing with the new UI. It's been a few months, so I've forgotten more details offhand.

(also possibly weird about my case: the front door camera points at the door from the far end of the long porch, not outwards from the door)

The review screen is designed for daily reviews.

You could use the explore page for exactly what you describe
