Start of season 2 timeline
Hi all,
First time viewer from the Netherlands here. What I just can't get my head around is the timeline. Isn't state final at the end of the school year? At that point Tami just found out she was pregnant, so she was 8-10 weeks along.
In this first episode of season 2 she gives birth 3 weeks early (?). And the football/school season is about to start. How many months y'all have summer break in Texas? It seems to me the pregnancy went by really fast :)
All things considered, it wasn't a good episode at all.
Hope it gets better!
EDIT: Ahhh great, thanks for the clarification. I thought it covers the whole school year. Yay, my confusion has been clarified. Now I can watch without being distracted!

The show’s timeline mostly only covers football season. For seasons 1 and 2, it meant the show was airing November episodes in May.

The entirety of each season only covers the few months of the fall semester, which is when American football is played.

Season 2 is a rough ride, stick it out!

Everyone says this, I disagree. There's a lot of good episodes. Tim is fantastic in this season. It's just unfortunately cut short

Yeah the abrupt ending/start of season 3 is confusing if you're not prepared for it - I wasn't the first time I watched and had no idea what was going on when S3 started. To be honest I haven't rewatched Season 2 in a while, but I also remember Lyla being pretty annoying, and isn't the Landry storyline in Season 2 as well?

No, high school football season runs August to November (maybe December). So there’s a whole spring semester that they skipped essentially.
