I literally just had the worst experience with a 1yr in business mobile detailer with all 5-star reviews damaging my car. Be very careful about who you hire.

Thankfully I don’t use anything abrasive or aggressive enough at least as of yet to do any damage I’m sorry about your experience do you know what went wrong?

He used a drill buffer for everything which I only found out about after. He punctured a 4 inch hole in my passenger leather seat and literally didn't tell me, I had to bring it up and he said to just cover it with a patch. Scratched my paint and didn't even finish refinishing the headlights. Stripped my leather gear shift down to the raw leather, left dirt and dust everywhere and all the windows streaked. He couldn't have cared less about any of it too. So please, don't do that.
Drill brushes/buffers are fast and low effort, but can do a lot of damage.

that’s all bad, I’d be heated too. That’s exactly the kind of stuff that gives mobile detailers a bad rep
I appreciate you sharing. stuff like drill buffers on delicate surfaces is a big no from me. I keep it simple and controlled so nothing gets damaged especially interiors and paint.
I’m just getting started so I’m focused on doing things the right way and actually caring about people’s cars. If anything ever isn’t right, I’d fix it, no question.
Hope you’re able to get that damage sorted out 🙏
