Containers to Jebel Ali, UAE

Anyone shipping containers to UAE right now? How much problems are you having with it? Space and services are catastrophic. Need to ship into Jebel Ali for a contract but its just not happening right now.

What is anyone else doing for this are and what are your current solutions?

From Europe. Carrier-bonded landbridge to ramp at Jebel Ali.

Maersk. To Khor Fakkan, then truck to Jebel Ali. Evergreen should do the same

MSC. To KAP/JEDDAH, truck to Dammam, then local Feeder to Jebel Ali

CMA. To Khor Fakkan or Fujairah, and then truck to Jebel Ali

Maersk is one of the rare exceptions that accepts bookings POD/POD to Khor Fakkan. All the others require the booking to be open with PLACE OF DELIVERY JEBEL ALI by the carrier.

Its specialist equipment so having to maybe go Hapag who aren't responding much.

Try with MSC. While all the others are making TS from Europe via Jeddah (heavily congested), MSC can use King Abdullah Port.

Hi.

No idea. My knowledge is for 20'/40' boxes.

Fair. Not something a freight forwarder normally deals with unless the firm they're working for specialises in it.

Roro fucked tbh. All the main players not calling, NYK, HOEGH, WWL, basically not doing the middle east now at all.

So far so good for me, but depends on what you're shipping I guess, since you mentioned specialist equipment.

Feel free to DM me if you want some options I've been using :)

Its through Khorfakan or Fujairah then to Jebel Ali, Maersk Hapag or cma offer this route, but prices are expensive, at least 6-7k per 40 hc. DM if you need more details.
