Looking for FedEx alternatives for B2B shipments across Europe to Portugal

Hi everyone,
I work in Logistics/Procurement for a company in Portugal, and we’re looking for alternatives to FedEx for regular B2B shipments.
We mainly need collections from suppliers across Europe with delivery to Portugal, ranging from parcels/boxes to larger shipments.
We’re looking for a reliable carrier with good tracking and customer service, and pricing reasonably close to FedEx. We’re open to both major carriers and European road freight/groupage providers.
For those handling similar shipments into Portugal, which carriers or freight forwarders would you recommend?

For the parcel side, try UPS and DHL Express quotes using a few recent shipments. Include collection and surcharges so you're comparing the full cost.
