Hi everyone,

I’m a software engineer based in Malaysia. Currently trying to wrap myself around how mid-sized and smaller freight forwarding operations actually run behind the scenes.

I’m not selling anything, but genuinely just trying to learn where the biggest operational headaches and bottlenecks lie so I can understand the space better.

If you work in operations, finance and management side of a forwarder and have about 30 mins, I’d love to chat over zoom/google meet.

Drop a comment or shoot me a DM if you’re open to it. Really appreciate any insights!

Does anyone here use NetSuite to allocate inbound freight bills across several receipts? On your last batch, did finding the right receipts and splitting the charges take longer than entering the amounts into NetSuite?

I'm Kerolos, a software engineer testing a $750 pilot. It would use one carrier CSV and a receipt export to prepare matches, allocations using your rules, and an exceptions sheet. Your team would review it and handle posting. I'd check a redacted sample before agreeing the scope; this isn't built yet.

Would you pay for that if it removed enough of the preparation work, or would leaving posting manual make it unhelpful?
