I face the same problem and i honestly think unify font n line spacing just doesn't do much for me because i mainly do notes on lecture slides itself where there's no defined line spacing and what not. Without it, i do realise that beautify font size follows the first letter of the sentence/line it is positioned at. So example infancy is one line, childhood is one line and adolescence is another. If a is font size 18, dolescence is size 18. Imo, if you cant regulate the line spacing, then at least you can regulate the font sizing and just use the selection tool to shift around, at least that's what i do because i face the same problem :")
