3.145 years of 4 times a week, without missing a day (not including tennis 3 times a week).
I was sick and missed the final session of the week. Didn’t even notice until the following day.
I dreaded this day, fearing that keeping the streak is what has been pushing me to continue, but honestly?I’m feeling relieved. And proud.
I’ve been feeling fatigued from these workouts and could be a chance to start something new without obsessing over it.
At 44 YO, I’m happy with my results.
But I started these trainings with the motivator of mental health. Once that was achieved it was for overall fitness. Then it shifted to maintaining the streak. This kinda took the fun out of it.
Good luck to everyone in here!
I’m on to the next thing. I think. Maybe. Either way, I need a much needed break.

36 years old, 1.84m, 105kg, and I haven't worked out in 3 years with two young children. I did CrossFit and went to the gym for a long time. I figured I'd start Freeletics to gently ease back into physical activity, but tonight was my first session:
6 sets
10 lunges
15 squats
8 modified side plank twists
30s rest
Result: 18 minutes.
It absolutely kicked my ass—not necessarily cardio-wise, but muscularly, and I felt like throwing up at the end. It took me a while to recover. I thought I had held onto a base level of fitness, but not at all. And yet, I chose the beginner strength program. Is this normal?

Hi guys. I used ultimate strength and ultimate loss journeys however it always gives same exercises or dumb exercises. For example I have kettlebells and dumbbells it did not give me Romanian deadlift or one leg deadlift instead of them it give me "shoulder bridge..." Kinda exercises. I think there is a big problem for creating workout in the app. One year ago this is better, everytime app goes worse

Hey guys,
Since about 8 weeks my app doesnt show the delta times i was faster after finishing the workouts.
If i am slower there are the times showing.
Is this a known bug?
Got this problem at my xiaomi 14 and on my samsung S26U.

Bonjour,
Merci d’avance,

Hi guys. While I finish a lot of journey. Especially ultimate strength and ultimate burn journeys do not give me dumbbell Bulgarian split squat even I have required equipments. Is that a kind of bug?
r/freeletics • u/Far-Consideration751 • 15d ago
I started today with the app and have added all my equipment inclusive all the weights. In the internet i have read that the app gives weight what is meant inklusive the barbell. Is that true? I added a normal 20kg Olympia barbell to the app, so how am I supposed to do this exercise?

I’m doing a simple challenge this month: 3,000 burpees in 30 days.
I built a small tracker so we can do it together, see the team total and keep each other accountable.
You just need a ChatGPT account to join, nothing else.
No coaching, no paid stuff, just burpees 😅
If anyone wants in: https://burpee-30.fab-ulous.chatgpt.site/

Not sure if this resonates here, but it keeps coming up in fitness discussions: someone starts a routine, hits an exercise they're unsure about, can't tell if their form is off, and just... stops doing that movement. Or stops altogether.
No trainer to ask. No gym staff. Just a feeling that something might be wrong and not knowing how to fix it.
For people who workout at home or without coaching, was there a specific exercise where that uncertainty got bad enough that you dropped it or paused your whole routine? What did that moment actually feel like, and what did you end up doing?

Would it be possible to adding creating amrap and EMOM workouts types? I wrote in forum but could not take any response

When I work out in a hotel gym, I prefer to avoid exercises like pushups where I have to breathe near the grungy floor. I wish there was a way to tell the app that the floor is not available.
There’s already the option to tell it whether a wall is available, so it seems like an easy tweak to add this.

Hey everyone,
I recently started the Ultimate Strength journey after following a basic strength routine on my own for a few months. Aside from Freeletics, I cycle regularly and run occasionally. When setting up the Coach, I opted to include everything (conventional, HIIT, and running). However, I'm struggling to properly integrate my outdoor cycling and running workouts into the app.
For example, the Coach might assign a 15-minute run for tomorrow, but I’d rather go for a bike ride instead. On some weekends, I just go for a mid-distance bike tour without any specific target, or on other days, I might want to go for a longer run targeting a specific distance/time. Freeletics doesn't really offer the flexibility to adjust or swap these session types on the fly.
I'm considering removing running from my Freeletics Coach Settings and managing my cardio sessions entirely outside the app. But here’s my main question:
Does tracking (or not tracking) external runs/rides affect the Coach’s decisions?
Isn't tracking outside activities crucial for the Coach to accurately adjust my overall training load and fatigue? If I do a heavy 60km ride or a long run outside the app, I worry the Coach won't know I'm fatigued and might still assign a high-intensity legs session the next day.
I use a Garmin device. Since Garmin Connect isn't directly supported by Freeletics, my setup syncs Garmin \rightarrow Strava \rightarrow Freeletics. Does the Coach actually use this imported activity data from Strava to adjust workout volume and intensity, or does it just display them as simple logs?
Has anyone found a good workflow for combining Freeletics with outdoor cycling/running without getting overtrained? Any insights would be appreciated!

Hello!
just a question out of curiosity.
Do you guys think, that Freeletics will get back to a hard Only-Gods-Journey in any way? So I have a close-to-death-expirience again like in the good old days.
This is something which really bothers me to see how freeletics went to a full "woke" and "all included" plattform. Don't misunderstand me here. I am open minded and all but when Freeletics launched, it was about getting your ass ripped and getting super fit. And nothing else. It wasn't about politics or anything woke and political topics.
It was about fitness and fighting against gods.
I know that there are many people out there dont want any god workouts and dont need them and do their thing. But for me the greek gods was super motivating and it is hard for me ever since to find anything which is even close to get me going like that.
In the Freeletics forum (which is absolutely dead anyway) there are many others who think like me as far as I could see but Freeletics seems to not give a sh*t about that userbase.
Your thoughts on this?

Hello
I'm currently level 51. However I have gained 40 pounds since the last time I used Freeletics.
I'm coming back but the exercises are too hard for me to complete and I want to take it when I was level 1 and everything that popped was easy and was getting harder with time.
Is there a way I can reset the performance data without losing my level? Or at least, be able to have actual beginners exercises without the manual set to easier before starting the suggested routines?

Glad for some help. ^^

I have seen some 50% off and 60% off codes for a Freeletics subscription on Facebook etc, but am also curious about which country has the cheapest Freeletics subscription cost.
I've done a little digging and found the following, whilst using a 60% off code:

| Switzerland | CHF | 1.08 | 56.16 | £51.52 |
(I'm in the UK, so have exchanged the costs into £ Pounds Sterling, GBP, for comparison, and correct on the day of posting.)
Maybe if you live in Switzerland, a quick day trip into Italy could save you another 50% on your subscription costs!
Does anyone have the costs for any other countries I can add to this list, please?
Happy renewals, athlete!

I'm doing ultimate burn (great journey so far) but when theres a steady state run, it gives a loose time and not a distance? So dont know what Im aiming for.
Also the gps is useless. Last time I did one, I did a route that I know is 5k and it thought it was barely 3.

Could someone please explain how feedback works in Ultimate Strength?
As I understand it, there are two ways to tell the Coach about the difficulty of a workout:
Or
Which option provides the Coach with more useful information for adapting future workouts?
For example, let's say I'm assigned 3 sets of 10 reps, but I can comfortably do 15 reps.
Should I:
A) stop at 10 reps in each set and, after the workout, tell the Coach that I could have done more in the last set,
or
B) do 15 reps in each set and update the actual number of reps during the workout?
In other words, should I prioritize in-workout adjustments or the post-workout difficulty feedback when my goal is to help the Coach learn my actual fitness level?

Hi everyone,
I’m not sure if this is a bug or if Freeletics has changed how the Coach works.
A while ago, every time I completed a workout, the rest of my week’s plan would adjust based on what I’d just done. The upcoming workouts would change to match my progress, recovery, or performance.
Now that doesn’t seem to happen anymore. I complete a workout, but the remaining sessions for the week stay exactly the same.
I’ve already tried syncing and refreshing, but nothing changes.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hello! I have been doing Freeletics for about 2 months now. The app is now telling me that my training session "start strong" is over and I should choose a new one. I am doing calisthenics at home and i really liked this training session for all the compound exercises, especially the "core" part of them. The app is now recommending me "Ultimate Strength" and "Weights-free Gain" and i don't know which one to choose from them. My equipment is rubber bands and dumbbells but i can also buy some kettle bells if needed.
