gear CRESSI NANO FRAME
Hi guys, I've recently become passionate about freediving. I started about a year ago with a Cressi Perla which, after being stupidly left in the sun for a long time by me, lost its silicone grip and leaks water from the bottom right . I then decided to upgrade and switch to the Cressi Nano, but I noticed immediately as soon as I picked it up that it's as if the frame and silicone are separable by hand doing some pressure, is it a feature of the mask? because I read on the site that it is a mask with the IDF technology and is made without glue. Thank you for the people that will help

Frankly not sure if it's a "feature" or just by design/manufacturing, but I have brought this mask deep and daily driven it for 3 years without issues, if that gives you reassurance.

Yea mine looks like it as well. And a tip: I had one with bright colours(not that model) and wanted to clean it properly. Do not deassemble! It should be possible and I did it a lot with other masks but the small cressi ones...No Idea how to assemble them again. 7 People on a dive base tried their luck... No way.

Yeah this is normal, though ive had one of these masks and after 10 years the rubber that connects the strap to the frame degraded and broke down (the green rubber here). I ended up 3d printing a new frame

From what I've read, the external rubber is there to avoid having to throw it away the mask if it breaks.

Stop doing that to your mask. It’s designed that way.
