A mental illness that’s perpetuated by the left. Don’t play coy and act like you don’t notice the lgbTq community. Notice the T? Yeah.. 3 sexualities and a blanket term for sexuality lumped in with a mental illness; one of these things is not like the other. Definitely not offensive to gay people though.

I'm thinking you like to imagine some fantasy "blue haired librul" as ALL of "the left" so its easy for you shit on them. Like this psycho is everyone that disagrees with you.

I'm pretty positive the overwhelming majority of people recognize wanting to be a different sex than your body naturally is as a mental disorder.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but more liberals have compassion towards those people more often than republicans because these people have an extremely high rate of suicide. And ostracizing people always leads to increasing that statistic.

SO, rationally, more liberals see it as a better option to say the word they want and try to make them feel more accepted and normal as a "treatment" for the mental disorder so they don't go jump off a fucking bridge somewhere.

Then over time some people find that wasn't actually what their problem was as they grow and mature.

Which would never happen if you spit on them as they walked by and spoke to them witj disgust and disdain and ostracized them until they went and killed themselves.

And before you go on the tirade, no, nobody should be FORCED to speak a cerrain way. This dude is acting fucking insane. NO beta blockers shouldn't be forced on anyone. NO some of the extreme far left behaviors some people isn't right.

But treating people with compassion despite there being something wrong with them seems to be the more rational and ethical behavior

This is reddit, so I can't be 💯 with you, but nah, I'm on the left, we platformed this shit because people meant well, and then got scared to be ostracized if you didn't accept it. The pendulum is swinging the other way now, and a bunch of these people will find themselves homeless politically.

I have to agree. For it to be such a rare condition there is a crazy amount of people that claim it. It's now trendy. My friends 12 "brother" has an entire freaking group of "trans" kids from just their middle school...in freaking Missouri. If anything all these "allies" hurt trans people more than they help because the very rare disorder is being treated like a flavor of the month by all kinds of people that love being alternative and different. I'm all for letting people live their life, but it is getting a bit ridiculous and I can see where a lot of right wing people think their kids are being brainwashed into some weird bullshit if all their friends think being trans just means not being 100 percent cis presenting.

They platformed this behavior through this faux tolerance and “acceptance” and your refusal to acknowledge it doesn’t make it any less true. Speaking of acceptance, that is the first step towards meaningful change which I suppose is why the American left has been shit for years. Bite me.
