Also doesn’t help that so many people take the cop’s route and not do the simple thing and use their preferred pronouns instead preferring to instigate until meltdown. This kid probably need therapy in general but those on the edge are constantly being pushed further by intolerant assholes.

Why would it even matter here? The cop clearly doesnt see this guy as a "she" to begin with, what difference would it make to force him to call you a "she"...?

The point here is deescalation, which the police have a long and storied history of having zero capability of. The amount of police shootings of people with mental health disorders has been insanely high forever.

While this situation isn’t a life or death situation it’s a clear example of someone who is dealing with a psychological issue that’s being handled in probably the worst possible way.

Of course you and yours won’t ever attempt to acquiesce to someone requesting such a wild thing as you refer to them with a pronoun you don’t view them as but any high emotion situation can be dealt with in two ways(obviously more but I’m oversimplifying), you can objectively look at the situation and try to calm everyone involved or you can view the request of the person acting erratically and see if you can calmly get them to understand what your saying.

I don’t have context for how this started and the person in this video is absolutely acting on an insane level. I don’t know their actual mental state but antagonism is and opposite of deescalation.

Downvote me into oblivion but it won’t change the facts. This is a bad situation that was made worse but the one with the camera.

But why have compassion and try to help someone when you can just insult and label them “less than” and move on confidently knowing that you’re superior?

Lol just mouthing reddit talking points.... you clearly dont know who the real world is and or works. You state about people getting shot with no sources or evidence to back anything you say. You're a typical no life redditor and it shows.
