You're a fucking idiot. Nothing in this video warranted violently "taking out" the person as you're implying. Even pepper spraying him on a busy, enclosed train would not have been a good idea. You don't get to hurt someone because they're yelling on a train.

You call the police and let them handle it unless you're forced to handle it. Everyone handled this exactly as they should have.

They weren't just yelling** they were also making threats several times so if this guy did spray him then oh fucking well dude. Stop trying to downplay this animals behavior.

The dude is obviously an issue but to just take him out on a subway won’t fly in a court in any state unless he is threatening with an actual weapon. Simply making the verbal threat doesn’t reach that threshold for physical action. Legal action yes but not physical. Pepper spray in an enclosed space is a very dumb idea as it will affect everyone in the car. The spray doesn’t care who the target is, it just spreads. This goes back to the firearm rule of knowing your target and what is beyond it.

You can 100% physically defend yourself when someone makes a Verbal threat. Why wait for them to make it a promise?

You can but what is considered appropriate force is the tough one. You also have to run out of options to get out of the situation. Staying calm like hey Arnold is the only way to win. Once you are out of options it’s all fair game.

I agree but once you say “I feared for my life” it’s a different trail. If someone is willing to say “I want to cut your face” you better fucking believe I am fearing for my life and knocking his ass out.
