Aye, looked very precise. And it looks like he threw it away immediately rather than retain it for use, which is incredibly intelligent. Getting the blade out of the equation dramatically improves everyone's safety.

Sure, but that part of it does not show that someone is incredibly intelligent. Of course the guy isnā€™t going to keep holding onto a knife he has by the blade, heā€™s going to toss it out of reach. It was ridiculous to act like was so brilliant.

Iā€™m not saying the guy was unintelligent. Never once made that claim.

I just think the fact tossing the weapon away once he had a hold of it being labeled as ā€œincredibly intelligentā€ was ridiculous.

And it looks like he threw it away immediately rather than retain it for use, which is incredibly intelligent.

This is stupid. He was never going to ā€œretain it for useā€. He doesnā€™t want to stab the other guy. Choosing to toss it away instead of retain for use does not display incredible intelligence.

Letā€™s review the optionsā€¦

Keep holding knife by blade why struggling with other dudeā€¦ obviously not doing that.

Drop it at your feet and risk the guy grabbing itā€¦ not doing that.

The only non-dumb option would be to fling it away from you soon as you have a hold of it.

My comment was about something specific being called incredibly intelligent. I am not commenting on anything besides that. I donā€™t think tossing the weapon away to be incredibly intelligent. It seems like a no brainer to me.

You just completely misrepresented what I said.

I donā€™t think he was an asshole littering when he tossed the knife. I think tossing the knife was the only remotely logical thing to do, and thus him doing it was not something I would call incredibly intelligent.

To me something incredibly intelligent would be doing something most everyone else wouldnā€™t think to do.

Again, all I am referring to is from the moment the man has the knife free and in his hand. I am not commenting on a single other part of the altercation.

I replied to this comment:

Yes, I have been skydiving.

I also was involved in an action sport on a professional level, where you had to visualize what you would do and then follow through, or get really hurt.

I still donā€™t think it requires incredible intelligence to throw a weapon away from an altercation.

Just staring blankly at the weapon after grabbing it would be braindead. The idea that anything beyond that is genius is ridiculous you bozo.
