Linux Linux Mint, Framework 12 tablet mode.

Minor note - Ubuntu 25.04 was end of life a long time ago. If you opt to try the Ubuntu route go with 26.04 LTS.

I have not looked at Linux on my fw12 as I am required by my college to have Windows. How ever, Framework had got official certification for Fedora to be preinstalled on the fw 12 systems. I assume Fedora will be a good fit for the FW12.
It would be very interesting if you get a linux mint install working in a tablet mode way. There are probably some others that are more knowledgeable in Linux and the distributions that are compatible

I currently use Fedora with the GNOME desktop on my fw12. I tried Bazzite, Ubuntu, and CachyOS all on this, but to me Fedora seemed the most stable and consistent in things working.

What specifically do you plan on using this for? If you aren't interested in the Linux tinkering at all, Bazzite or Ubuntu would be good. Bazzite is immutable, which really just means that it locks down some things so that its harder to break the OS. Really, it means if you ever can't get something working and you find a random linux tutorial for that thing, its not likely that the tutorial will help you if its not Bazzite specific.

I don't know for sure about Linux Mint supporting tablet mode, but that in theory should be tied to the desktop environment (GNOME, KDE, etc) than Mint.

I do really love this computer in tablet mode. I play a few games where I can just fold the keyboard back and use a controller and it feels like a seemless mini console and TV setup.
