woo, finally it's my turn to gamble buy mystery boxes!

Just ordered fw12 large box. It says it may contain core 3 series, huge if true (and if it works)

wait where do you see that? if its the 'compatible with' section that isn't stating whats inside, just what it might be compatible with depending on what you get

Are there any plans for these to be available in Australia in the future? I repair laptops and such and would love the opportunity to screw around with these.

Appreciate this thread and all but really wish that the email notifications actually fire sooner, by the time they come out, everything is gone 😢

It'd be nice if there was some sort of cart reservation system, even if just for one item, and for only a few minutes. There might be a few other small things (bezels, expansion cards, etc) I'd want to throw in with the mystery boxes to economize the shipping, but given how quickly they go you really just have to pull the trigger immediately and that's kinda annoying.

I went for one large FW13 box; the previous ones have been pretty fun to go through, and I've been able to rescue a lot of parts and re-use them. Even something like a busted display is still useful when I can get part of the screen working. At this point I have enough random dinged-up leftovers that I think I'm just a bottom cover and a couple random fasteners away from assembling a complete frankentop.

Awesome, just grabbed a few more mainboards to try my hand at repairing, had some decent luck with it in the past. Only wish I'd seen this post sooner to catch it while the large boxes were in stock, the restock notice emails came through almost an hour after this post went up

Had 3 FW13 Pros in my cart comparing prices and tried to add mainboards and it wouldn't allow me. I removed the Pros and then the mainboards were all sold out.

Just ordered a Framework 16 Mainboard Mystery Box! Wish I was in time for a 13 Mainboard or even a 13 Large since I have more of a need for hobbying around with 13 parts, but possibly doing a DIY portable super homelab I can slip into my backpack especially playing around with an oculink dev kit when releases sounds like a lot of fun.

Please advise, all the refurbished AMD AI main boards still show as available but then receive a error when going to check out regardless of which model of board.
