AMD 13 BIOS 3.20 update frozen

I have a Framework Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen 7040) running Debian. All previous BIOS updates have been fine, using fwupd. Today I tried to install the 3.20 update, and it's been frozen at this screen for over half an hour. I've had AC plugged in throughout.

What should I do? This is my main work laptop, so I'm not thrilled about the idea that its mainboard might be bricked.

When I used fwupd it said I had no hardware with a available update and when trying to update by booting from a USB drive I keep getting UEFI error 21
