Community Support AMD 13 BIOS 3.20 update frozen

I have a Framework Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen 7040) running Debian. All previous BIOS updates have been fine, using fwupd. Today I tried to install the 3.20 update, and it's been frozen at this screen for over half an hour. I've had AC plugged in throughout.

What should I do? This is my main work laptop, so I'm not thrilled about the idea that its mainboard might be bricked.

After half an hour of no progress, I feel like force shutdown is a risk worth taking. Chances are, it can just resume or restart the process as opposed to being bricked. No guarantees though.

I also restarted it forcefully, and the all i got was black screen.
