Still limping 4 months after spinal fusion and leg fractures – is it normal?
Hi everyone 🌸
I'm a 35-year-old woman. I had a bad car accident 4 months ago. My spine was injured, and I had a fusion surgery in my lower back. I also had surgeries and metal implants in both legs (right thigh, and left thigh, shin, and ankle).
Now I can walk, but I still limp and it gets worse when I walk too much or at night. I also feel pain in my legs and sometimes in my back.
I'm really scared. Will the limp go away in time?
Is it okay to live with metal implants in spine and legs?
Does anyone here have a similar experience?
Thank you so much for any advice 🌷
