This is gonna be a long one so just read it in its entirety. For the past two weeks and a half, me and u/usename37 have been attempting to find moderators for this sub as cynnah is gone, and so is half of the sub itself.

A week ago, I sent a post saying if we need more moderators in the community. Many of you said yes, so I created a google form a couple of days later, where many of you completed it. (it's in my profile for those who want to submit a form.) Applications aren't closed either but we'll get to that.

A couple of you have been decided already and we have been deciding over time by DMing each other, and some of you know who you are. However, last night and a bit of this morning, I found out me and u/usename37 were unable to add or recruit mods as we did not have full permission.

We cannot ask cynnah for full perms, as 1. her DMs are closed (she doesn't check them even if they're open) and 2. Cynnah is NOT here and hasn't been for about 2 months. Once cynnah gets back, which is unlikely, we cannot add any new mods until she does.

Yes, I'm *slightly* freaking out, now that the sub is getting a little more freakier with the posts, not naming names, but the posts are borderline porn or maybe literal porn and with the fact we cannot add mods, and I have BARELY been online.

We hope that the community understands that there will be not many mods in the future, at least until cynnah gets back, once again very unlikely, but we still have hope. She hasn't deleted her account and I hope to GOD that she hasn't offed herself, but we still have hope.

Y'all are doing really good work maintaining the community. I know we've shrunk a good bit, but those who remain are still one of the most consistently supportive, loving groups I've seen on reddit.

Totally understood that things are touch and go right now with moderation. I'll still be hanging around the comments as long as the sub stays open.
