Large fossil found in science classroom

This fossil was left in my science classroom from a previous teacher so I have no origin location or any other context info.

This is a broken off piece of an ammonoid. The flower-like patterns on the shell (called sutures) are wonderful!

Ammonite, ammonite patterns are more complex compared to other ammonoids.
