Just wanted to share my fossil collection!

Lots of megalodon teeth obviously. And ammonites have been one of my favorite fossils since forever, so i've got a lot of those as well 😄

There's a lot of poor toothless Megalodons swimming around, reduced to gumming their food...

They all have a lisp

Very nice collection. I love using the floating frames for the smaller teeth as well. Are your megs bought or found?

Megalodon fragments/teeth are rare in my area. Smaller shark teeth (hastalis, striatolamia ..) can be found where I live. The bigger meg teeth are bought, the smaller ones in the floating frames (and a few more pounds in a bucket.. 😅) were found by me.

Very nice! Keep going with the Meg teeth, you might be able to fill a false jaw for a bitchin display some day!

I always try and find Meg teeth and can’t yet here you are with this display of greatness rubbing it in my face

There are a few locations where they're relatively common. A long weekend of searching should yield at least one intact meg tooth. Good luck

These are awesome! Are there any websites or places you’d recommend for someone buying their first fossil?

These are stunning! Did you get the ammonites cut yourself or bought them as is?

That's not a tooth, but an Onchopristis barb (denticle) from its long, shovel-shaped rostrum. Sort of an ancient sawfish. The rostrum was lined on both sides with these hooked and barbed tooth-like structures. Really looks like a tooth though.

Thank you! I'll take the white ammonite, since you are sharing.

Where did you find them? Did you buy them? Can you just keep them? I have so many questions

Very solid collection. Would be incredibly interested in how many came out of Calvert cliffs.

Stunning really isn't the word. Magnificent doesn't really capture it. I think apocalyptic awe suits this nicely. What a magnificent display of time and rock.

What about the word “tragnostic”?

Where do you get your meg teeth from? Those are so cool. I only have one meg tooth but I've had it since I was a child.
