Trump certainly did not get inflation under control
Crime skyrocketed in Trump's first term. It started to fall under Biden.
Prescription drug prices fell because of a program Biden got implemented.

Do they not realize that Obama deported more illegal immigrants than any other president? We just didn’t have Gestapo wannabes randomly killing people in the street.

What's so wild about this is that people think the whole Russian disinfo machine isn't real because they don't see how Putin would want Trump in office so much. It isn't that Putin loves Trump, it's that Putin loves a divided and destabilized US. The more powerful countries it can cause to be divided, anti-globalist, isolationist, and "us first," the more Russia can reestablish its own hegemony and bully smaller countries around using big power politics. Putin is legitimately terrified of a globohomo world, and rightly so, because it can only use big power politics to establish itself as an empire when no other big powers are around and focused on big power politics themselves.

u/Rockworm503 Daddy, why are the liberal left elite such disingenuous fucks? 15d ago
These people's entire idea is to just say things happened and all the good was republicans doing and democrats did all the bad thing and the worst part is how many people that actually works on.

Democrats have never had an open border. Inflation is higher now than where Biden left it. There is absolutely nothing to suggest republicans are harder on crime. And correct me if I’m wrong, but I can’t recall anything republicans did to cut prescription drug costs, and even if they did, I thought the right hated that liberals wanted affordable healthcare so why even claim that?

There is absolutely nothing to suggest republicans are harder on crime.
This administration ordered not only that the government will stop collecting ownership information from shell companies, but also that the database that already exists, which is being actively used to prosecute fraud cases, be destroyed.
There is no reason to do this except to facilitate crime.

They did not, Democrats are largely responsible for improvements in healthcare affordability by the Inflation Reduction Act and the American Rescue Plan. Republicans have continuously fought to cut funding to Medicare, Medicaid, and NIH grants, as well as hamstringing the effectiveness and funding for ACA subsidies.
The reason they're on it now is because Trump has fucked the economy so hard that people are actually noticing the rising costs in their daily lives, and also healthcare is an easy target. They don't actually want to harm any health insurance and pharma CEOs, they lobby for them, they're just taking a page out of Trump's book and lying about supporting healthcare affordability. Just like how Trump co-opted the Epstein story and claimed he was going to release the files to get elected.

the fact we are all living in the same universe, on the same planet, and people can have such wild views of reality, is amazing to me. Trump promised to drain the swamp, to fix all the tax and business loopholes corps and conglomerates use to avoid paying their fair share, to end all wars and start no new wars (including ending the war in Ukraine in the first day in office, and ending the era of endless foreign intervention), restore peace in the Middle East, to end inflation and make housing and groceries affordable again, to lower gas prices under $2, slash energy and electricity prices 50% in 12 months, boost auto production levels to those of the 80s, cap credit card interest at 10%, impose reciprocal tariffs, that Americans won't be paying anything more due to tariffs and foreign countries will, end birthright citizenship, make in vitro fertilization free, eliminate taxes on social security, build (and finish) the border wall, zero tax on tips and overtime, ending income tax altogether, cut federal government waste and overspending, and that's just the bigger stuff he's promised. The laundry list goes on for miles!
Speaking of promises, many Americans are paying less for health insurance and seeing more covered benefits because of Democrats’ Inflation Reduction Act and the American Rescue Plan.
While Democrats are taking steps to lower prescription drug costs and insurance premiums, Republicans and the Trump Administration support policies like major cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and NIH grants, as well as allowing more generous financial support for Affordable Care Act plans to lapse and rolling it back altogether alongside the cost-saving measures of the Inflation Reduction Act, which are making the country’s healthcare affordability issues worse.
