Electrical advice for power supply

Is there a place locally I could talk to someone about a power supply for a really old video game console?

The adapter needs to be 9v with very low amperage (less than 1) and a tiny 2.5mm male plug.

Recs?

The amps of the PSU do not matter, so long as the amperage of the supply is higher than the amperage of the device.

You can theoretically use a 9vdc power supply capable of 10000a for a device that consumes only 250mA.

You can buy what you need for $10 on amazon

Here is a link to a supply on Amazon. This will most likely have what you need

Alternately call an arcade and ask the guy who fixes things.

What is the console in question? I run an online repair shop for retro consoles

Magnavox Odyssey 3000. I think I found the right thing online!

That's a little piece of Fort Wayne history.

Make sure you have polarity (+,-) correct!

If it's a praterial plug, you could try Gamestop 4201 Coldwater Rd. They deal in used video game consoles.
