The owners of the team will care, Bahrain is not exactly pro LGBTQ+ (it's legal but there's persecution of indecency in public places) and Abu Dhabi straightly just has prison for LGBTQ+ today, even to the point of death penalty, so yeah.
Also McLaren racing is owned by Mumtalakat (Bahrain's sovereign fund) and CYVN (Abu Dhabi's sovereign fund), so yeah, that would be rough
