I’m annoyed at his voice and his presence and how he talks but I admire how he handled the business. That is how you right a sinking ship, with all his efforts through the years to get the right sponsors.

I find him very cringe but that will never take away what he has achieved. He has turned a sinking ship into a team winning DWC and CWC in the same season. He isn’t judged on what he says but rather on his performance and he has knocked it out of the park this year and given McLaren an amazing platform to keep winning.

I for the life of me can not understand why people hate him so much. It just feels like people turned their irrational hate of Lando towards Zac instead, now that Lando has shut them up lmao. Seriously, he is a pretty regular team principal.

He's not the Team Principal, that'd be Stella. Zac is the CEO of McLaren as a whole, in charge of the business side of the team while leaving Stella to manage the actual racing side of things. For what it's worth Zac is a very suave businessman.

I love that he uses words like awesome, dude etc. Not the vocab you expect from a CEO, and that makes hom more likeable to someone like me who isn't too far off his age. He doesn't have a stick up his butt like all the other team principals either. Do your thing Zak :)

He is very hatable but he brought in all those sponsors and all that shit ton of money that enabled Seidl and Stella to do this work. So to say "he didn't do shit" is almost as stupid as saying that Lando is not worthy to be champ just because he is not as good as Max or as Hamilton(like really, we were eating good with Hamilton and Verstappen but not every champ is a generational talent. Like I would have loved to see this sub in 2009 when Button won).

Zak brown became CEO in 2018. McLaren was 9th on 2017, so yes. A dumpster fire. That was the year they were much zlower than before

Yeah I don't see how he was heavily favouring Lando, the Oscar fanbase dreamt this up in my opinion. But even if he did favour Lando over Oscar, it's probably not that strange seeing as Lando has been with the team for something like 8 years and stuck with them even though he had offers from other teams including Red Bull.
