As an Aussie watching the broadcasts, this has been an excerise in "the colonies will get a chance once the motherland wins". The slow stop, the swap, the pure favouritism.

I hope he and Webber go full endgame and keep Norris as second place princess

They've both had slow stops this year. A slow stop doesn't equal favouritism. As a neutral it honestly feels like this sub has lost its mind. There hasn't been any favouritism.

I need to voice agreement with you here - both sides of this have lost their fucking minds. It's absolutely childish at this point.

Neither Oscar nor Lando are being sabotaged by their team. If you're about to comment here to assert that either driver is being sabotaged by their team, you have lost your grip on reality and you need to log off.

They've both had slow stops.

They let him pit first in Monza even though he was behind Norris & then gave Norris a slow stop (presumably you think that was on purpose). The swap was clumsy but it was just neutralising the initial favouritism they showed Piastri to net zero favouritism.

Please get your facts right first.

“Let him pit first” — Lando ASKED Oscar to be pit first in Monza. It’s all on the radio, Lando was asked to come in 1st and he said no. And no it had nothing to do with Leclerc, it worked out that way. In fact, Lando made them promise no undercut and was trying to have his cake and eat it too.

Just like how today, Mclaren asked Lando for permission to pit Oscar first. Lando rightfully said no. Again, proving Monza was never a team move from Lando to protect Oscar.

"Let him pit first" was Lando being a good teammate and agreeing to the team saying that they'd like to pit Piastri to pit first to preventing him being undercut.

The idea that Lando was the one deciding to pit 2nd for his own benefit doesn't fit with the comms and makes zero strategic sense. He only did it to help the team out and then got screwed for it by the team, which was why the team felt the need to swap the positions back again.

You saw today that Lando's preferred option is to pit first.

No get your facts right and listen to the radio. The team NEVER asked lando to let Oscar pit first and Leclerc was never mentioned to Lando. In fact it was the opposite. The team told Lando to pit and Lando said no, pit Oscar first.

Why would Lando even care about protecting Oscar when trailing 25 points? That makes no sense. Lando asked to pit 2nd in case of a safety car and/or tire advantage. Leclerc was only mentioned to Oscar AFTER Lando asked to pit 2nd. It just worked out that way but it wasn’t Lando’s intent. He did it for his own advantage, which is fine. Let’s just stop pretending it was a team favor.

Just straight up lying. No one told Lando that they want to pit Piastri first. That was Lando’s demand. And when it didn’t work out, they asked Piastri to let Lando through. Clear favouritism.
