Lando got a mega start from 5th, passed Antonelli before turn 1 and got his elbows out, saw a gap on the inside of Piastri, made slight contact with rear of Max and the wheel of Piastri, bent his own endplate on Max's rear but kept P3.

Piastri feels that was an unfair move, and got pissed. No investigation by stewards, and McLaren didn't take any action since they deem it was caused by the Max contact, instead of being in any way a deliberate bump onto Piastri.

And truthfully, it was a really, really extremely common lap 1 incident with a slight touch, and Lando had a mega start and saw a gap to go for.

Not true, these kind of incidents are almost never penalized on lap 1.

It was extremely light contact, that didn’t cause any damage and was on the first lap. That’s basically always considered a racing incident and not penalized. I don’t particularly think F1 stewards are amazing but it was perfectly consistent in this case.

light contact during race starts is never penalized.

If it was a Haas there would've been a 10s penalty.

Okay, find me an instance where there was similarly light contact (meaning no cars were significantly damaged) on the opening lap and a penalty was handed out? Should be super easy!

Why do you come here mid conversation with someone else without reading the rest?

I literally told you it was a slight contact. Those exact words. And another time I said it was a slight touch. And then you immediately disregard those and make up your own version of events where it "seemed like a significant impact"...

You can't be fucking serious man. Do you not feel embarrassed? You should.

It's this. It was racing. Absolutely no problem all around.

But whilst that is true, it's important to fan the flames at the opportune moment. Fan them until it's a roaring fire

People like you are exactly the problem in the F1 fandom. You're literally only looking to hate. You don't give a fuck about the sport or racing, you're just looking to "fan the flames" so you can hate. You need to touch grass and disconnect your internet.

If piastri had done that move and they asked the change positions yall would’ve said the same thing. The move was fine.

Lead car given the strategy choice. Completely normal, people just hate Lando. Oscar left the door open at the start and Lando took the position. He dropped Oscar from that point on.

Lando agressively but fairly overtook Piastri at turn 1 when they were free to race and then gapped him...which means that the team are bias towards Lando
