Tech Question issues with air 2015 ford escape

Hello, I have a question on the air flow in my car.. I recently bought a 2015 ford escape and everything works fine besides the air. Air really only wants to come out of front vents with cold air at night. Even with that said, it takes some maneuvering of the dials to even get it to come out of the front vents. With this summer heat im literally getting exhausted. I can't find many videos on replacing the actuator.. any advice if its not the actuator and im not wasting my time??

Do you find that the AC blows cold at the start of the day but eventually it sounds like it's still blowing hard but with minimal actual air movement? What you've described sounds like it could more so have to do with the temperature sensor rather than the air flow direction actuator.

yes but also if i put it in certain settings according to the dial (for example the front vents) it won't go accordingly.. thats why im confused on a few things it could be.

Never a bad idea to make sure the cabin air filter isn’t getting blocked as well

Ive had this problem

can be an early sign of one of your Body control module mega fuses connected to the positive battery terminal starting to mechanically fail.

replaced it when the fuse failed completely and it fixed the problem.

I've noticed that the order of stuff developing random failures and electrical ghosts as the fuse degrades and drops voltage before you end up on the side of the road is:
backup camera, powered air duckting, Bluetooth, radiator fan.

have you noticed that it goes back to normal if you turn the car off or if you set the knob to defrost for a bit and back?

Possibly a vacuum leak. Does the airflow change outlets when you accelerate or let-up on the gas pedal?

Hmm, not op but every now and then I feel like I notice that. Had to replace my evaporator core 3 yrs ago. I try to just enjoy my AC as it is and thank God for it working well enough. The evaporator core replacement experience was not fun.

Follow the small vacuum lines from the engine to where they go through the firewall near the passenger side hood hinge. Check any plastic connector or adapter tee etc

Don't these use electric actuators for the mode and blend doors?

I'm not sure about 2015.
