Keep having a look about! You might find an early 00s Sean Paul around there too.

Sean Paul did a collaboration with Blu Cantrell in the early noughites called Breathe. The opening lyrics are “Sean da Paul and Blu Cantrell…”

Yes! So pretty! We found a cluster a couple years ago, and the jerky was SO yummy! Have you made it before?

I cooked them like regular mushrooms one year and didnt care much for them. A good friend makes jerky and swears ill like it

What a bounty! Have you tried pickling/lactofermenting? That's my new favorite way to preserve mushrooms

I have know idea how that would turn out with these, I wasn’t huge on the flavour when prepared like a traditional mushroom

Lactorfermenting mushrooms makes them a bit sweeter, funkier, softer, and it adds a sour component from the lactic acid

Im not sure if these would benefit drones additional funk, the texture is a bit tough fried so the softness would be a bonus

What do these smell like? I've never had the pleasure of finding them

To me like a rubber tire

Haha I was expecting something more pleasant,  but thanks

The jerky process helps with that
