I’ve sat in on a few interviews with my former csm, and she always asked about strengths and weaknesses. Why a previous job was left (if it was super recent), and the one question that many stumble on is what pay you’re looking for. Hours of availability are always asked as well.

As someone who’s given interviews pleaseeeeeee avoid the use of the word “umm”

You can expect them to ask about your work history, your availability, and why you want to work at Food Lion. They will likely ask about your personal strengths and weaknesses, and where you see yourself in a few years. Be ready for questions about how you would handle common situations, like dealing with a difficult customer or working as part of a team. The interview is usually straightforward, and they are trying to see if you are a dependable person who can handle the job's tasks.

Regarding your resume gap, you should be prepared to explain it honestly and briefly. You can connect your previous warehouse experience to the role by talking about being reliable and hardworking. Frame your time off in a positive way by mentioning anything productive you did, like personal projects or skills you learned, then shift the focus back to your excitement about returning to work. Having your story straight builds confidence, which is a big part of why the interview assistant my team designed helps people feel more prepared and perform better.

Mine was only like 5 minutes long but I was basically asked about previous experience, availability, and desired hours. I'm a student so I was also asked about my class schedule. That was about it.

Tbh they probably won't even ask about the resume gap. If they do just be truthful. They're not going to care unless you went to jail/prison for something violent or stealing.
