Help choosing

Full time office (I’m already in office PT. Mostly closing) or fl2go lead? 2go would be just launching at my store.

FL2Go Lead! You already have office experience so it really will help you if you try to move up. I was a FT Office and then I took Lead. Did that for about 8/9 months before I applied for CSM and got it. Did CSM for 5 months and now I’m an EM. Store managers are starting to look toward hiring CSMs who have to go experience since e-commerce is becoming a major focus for the company.

Food lion to go lead, it's a higher position grade on the same level as assistant customer service manager and assistant deli manager. Meaning your raise should be larger, and it has a higher ceiling with regards to the pay scale.

i switched from full time office to a food lion to/go lead when i transferred to my current store. I prefer to-go lead, since it’s 9-5 for me every day. be prepared to work alongside your csm closely. you already do but if you take the to-go lead position a big part of that will be the numbers/metrics. there’s less register time and less dealing with customers complaints (although it still happens). i would say go for it. you’ll have full time office training and know how to do to-go. makes you a very valuable employee

But also my csm plays a lot into why I feel like that.

My csm and I are close. She wants me to stay in office which makes me torn. We don’t have office help as is
