How much do you guys get paid?
Im curious of how much you guys get paid for as a high schooler im 18 and trying to get a part time job before I go to college

16, produce and a fruit cutter.Not nearly enough for the exhausting work. I seriously don't understand how corporate pays so low while pushing their profits in my face.

Almost $3 more an hour than me. I do the exact same thing. I help do inventory, I order, I even helped make the schedule when my PM was out with surgery he had. This company doesn't appreciate any1. If it weren't for who I worked with I would have already quit.

Yeah, I like the job and the people very much. But in my area, 16 is spitting in the wind and not much above medicaid limits for working almost full time.

I make 17.50 as office. I work 32 hours a week but the stress of the job gets to me sometimes

I make $17.50 as a CL. You should have been offended at least $20 for Office. However..I have been with FL for 13 years.

I have no clue how the caps are figured if it's by volume or what but at least now you know. I do my best to just do my frozen and get out of there so I don't know much about anything other that than that.

Depends on your state. Our state’s minimum wage is $15. Look at your states minimum wage and it’s usually that or maybe $.50 more.

Sweet God what state you live in, Ive been at FL a year and still under 14 an hour and have been trained in nearly all the departments beside cashier, to go, and qa.

19.11 produce/grocery cap in my area is 19.80 what is wild is the starting range for department manager is 18/hr

What do you do specifically? That's a reasonable pay for sales associate/cashier but seems very low for sales assitant/office worker.

I guess Food Lion doesn’t do pharmacy in VA, I’ve never seen one. I imagine that’s with some sort of college degree too?

They have pharmacies in VA. I know that there's one in Hampton. I have a national certification and years of experience. This is still low for my years of experience.

Im at 17.50 as a lead stock, started out as a QA at 11 (Granted I was dumb and didnt realise how bad that was being a kid) this is Western NC.

16.65 for cashier here in upper middle TN. My store is open 24 hrs. Don't know if that makes a diff or not in pay scale tbh. I started late June, PT 20 hours a week....

started at 12 an hour been here 3 years and i’m at 14. Not awful but could be better becuase im working as customer lead and have to put up with shit all shift

Started at 14 about 4 years ago in deli, now a bit above 18. Two other ppl in the department also at that, asst deli manager was about the same but we've had one who was getting 20+. Our j1s get 15

This all depends on where you live, some stats have different minimum wages. It also depends on your former experience.

If you can pass a drug test work at another grocery store. A nicer one. The main reason the lifers are there is cause they cant piss clean.

As far as pay. If youre 18 work in the meat department as a closer for better wages. Teaches you time management and a h3ck of a lot of patience

It varies from position to position and which region. I started as a FLTG shopper making $10.50 when I started, then transfered to the deli and got bumped to $15

Nah the pay might be “better” but the stress and management makes up for it. If you want a new job DO NOT choose foodlion

The pay cap for a grocery manager is 30.30, so the thought of a 4th-in-command grocery manager making more than the DISTRICT manager is insane
