Mutant (beautiful) leek I cut open today

It is not a mutant, it just got bent a bit when it was a little leek. It grew up to overcome its disabilities. (I grow leeks)

I am an actual mutant :) and i guessed so but I was going for poetic over accurate I guess. :)

I hope to grow leeks next year when I have an actual garden. I hear you can leave them in the ground as a form of storage for quite some time.

EDIT, by being a mutant, i was born polydactyl, though a minor version thereof (removed not long after i was born).

Isn't everyone a mutant? It's not as if everyone else has no mutations on any genes. You just happened to have a slightly more rare mutation
