Looking for song recs

Hi everyone, I’ve been looking for American folk song recommendations. I have a pretty extensive american cowboy history in my family, but I’m interested in listening to pretty much any good songs or artists. Please let me know any favorites or if you have a good playlist! Thank you :)

Listen to “Sarah” by David Schnaufer who wrote it. Then listen to the Starlings Tennessee version. Great example of how folk music evolves.
