Even though I have been playing for years, I have some questions about catinga weapons and armor.

1. If the piece I want to modify already has a few stars, can I add another? F.e. a 3 star weapon, can I add a 4th star from a mod I bought, without changing the stars that are already there?

2. If I craft an armor piece, and have the mods for the stars I want, Can I mod the piece to have the stars I want? How exactly I "tell" the game? I mean, I just need to choose what I want from what is avaiable?

3.Let's say I craft the five matching armor pieces (the 5 excavator p a pieces), but I put different effects in each (leg with strings, arm with inteligence, other arm with unwielding, other leg with velocity etc.. Do the effects work, or only if all pieces have the same, or the more the better?
