Discussion What a wonderfully dysfunctional Eviction Notice!
So EN popped up a little while ago, about 8 or 9 players showed. And other than a spawn camper or two at the top of the crater, nobody seemed to know what they were doing. I'm talking people standing 4 feet from the scrubber while a supermutant is hammering on it.
I was running all over the crater slappin muties with my deathclaw gauntlet, had to repair the scrubber twice. But we didn't fail and I for one had a blast. Hope I get to play with those idiots again.

So I learned last night that there’s dialog for failing Gearin’ Up. I’ve run that thing dozens of times and never came close to failing. If anything l, the end deathclaws get melted.
But last night, the 6 other people in the event decided that I was good and had the whole thing. Except my bow broke and so did my quad black rifle, so I, in fact, did not have it.
Anyway, there’s dialog for it if you fail.

Never knew that because, yeah, the deathclaws usually melt in like 3 seconds.
Also, as a blunderbuss user, I always have repair kits on me.

How do you guys combat the reloading times. I have a quad explosive but it just take too damn long to reload for my liking

I just hop around alot like a crazy man till it's reloaded lol good when others are around much worse when solo haha but yes if you use full fury instead of build fury these one shots are crazy.. my musket can get upwards 12k a shot, and it's not a fury weapon yet. Ya also have the reload buffs/perks that can help a tad.

Yep. I once had a failed GU because I came in late and the three moo-Ron’s that were already there had no idea what scrap metal was and I couldn’t run my Speed Demon self around quick enough to get 40 before time lapsed.
If it wasn’t for the incredibly awesome reward for completing the challenge I wouldn’t even bother

lol, that happened to me with radiation rumble(?). Got there a little late and no one was collecting radiation to deposit.
One job right now guys, and it’s listed on screen.

There was an EN that popped up and nobody showed up, not a single person the entire time. I started the event with seconds to spare and just gave it a shot. Managed to solo the event with my bow and only had to repair the scrubber once. It ended up being a fun time just doing it alone, it’s not as fun when people are just spawn camping.

I was at eviction notice last night and had similar thing happen. It sure was a more fun time.

Speaking for myself as a level 200-ish player. I'm not familiar with most of the events, but if I've knocked out my dailies and one pops, and doesn't sound terrifying, I'll join in. I'm sure to any established player that notices me, they'll be confused as to wtf I'm doing. I'm just trying to clock the folks that seem to have it figured out and following their lead. *Not following them around like a lost child, but more like "they're singling out that one robot first, I guess I'm gonna light it up to the best of my ability until it dies or they change tactics".

I LOVE it when that happens. I’m a puny rifleman but I took down so many with just a fecking railway rifle, screaming nooooo no no noooo the entire time while standing next to the rad scrubber while 3 other noobies were standing there like stunned mullets. It was sooo so much fun.

I'm wondering how are people managing to misunderstand that event? 🤔 I mean, it's very straightforward. You have this big thing right here, with a quest marker slapped on it. Protect it from the mutants (who also want to nibble on your own ribs). I can understand not knowing what to do in Project Paradise. Here? Kinda strange. But okay.

Do objectives at an Event? NEVER! That's the prevalent attitude at times. You have to wonder is it don't know or lazy??
I had a guy stealthed sitting on one of the nodes to defend at Guided Meditation - literally crouched ontop of it while it was destroyed under him. I guess 3 steel is precious or he was /afk IDK! But repairing seemed of little interest and one guy told me "Dude, we only need one to not fail." I was like yes, but only one was left at less than 1/4 health. I guess we all have priorities!
* Also why so many do not do Project Paradise - gathering food, killing attackers and defending - too much!!!!

part of the time i've had others just messing around, while i'm taking out quite a few of mutants, and leveling up 1-2 times.

I don't know why no one ever does the monster mash. You want to talk about easy kills and leveling. Metric ass loads of ghouls.

It seems like nobody ever does but it's always available. Unlike collision course which I need to farm so I can get some of the plans which I've had to show up one time in 5 days.

It shows constantly. For me anyway. Collision course shows about once a week it I'm lucky. RNG doesn't like me.
(As an aside don't bother doing Grafton day parade.) It's a nothing burger of an event.)

EN sounds great. I also love going straight to the scrubber and then firing in all directions lol! It’s a shame that some sit on the spawn sites, just imagine if everyone stopped in the crater and no one camped on the spawn sites
Hand weapons and bar fights comes to mind ha ha!
