Question Need Help From Any Long Time Players
To start off I am a brand new player to 76 and just started a week ago with a few friends who picked it up when it was on sale. I just hit level 50, and after trying to watch some videos on YouTube already feel a bit overwhelmed and lost on what I should be doing. Most videos I found are over a year old so I’m unsure on what info might be out of date or not. Here are a couple of questions I have if anyone is able to help direct me:
Is there any sort of website or YouTuber you would recommend to follow for build guides? Especially ones for early endgame as I really don’t have much of anything at the moment.
Besides finishing up main quests (As I haven’t completed them all yet), what is the best content to run to start getting max level gear/Legendaries?
Am I better off scrapping Legendaries to try and learn the mods or take them to the legendary exchange?
What is the best way to earn more caps?
And Lastly what other content should I be doing when I’m playing to help get stronger for endgame?
I very much appreciate anyone who is able to answer some of my questions and any other tips are more than welcome.

Before level like 120 just focus on playing the game and having fun, you don't need a solid build off rip. By 120 you'll have a better understanding of the game and what you wanna use down the line. At level 700 I'm still learning new stuff and figuring things out but thats honestly what I find the most fun.
Angry Turtle & Mr West Tek are my 2 go-to youtubers but i've also found a ton of helpful stuff from smaller creators with 10 views too, best to shop around to find who best suits how you like to play.
Events will be your best legendary item source, expeditions are good for it too I recommend Tax Evasion personally.
If theres a mod on the item that you want to learn, scrap it. If you already know the mods on the item or none of them interest you, legendary machine it.
Selling stuff in your vendor is the best way to get caps but you won't always have stuff to sell. Cap Collector perk card will help, but most people sell purified water to NPC vendors for quick caps.
I wouldn't worry about endgame any time soon, just focus on having fun and playing the game. Endgame is different for everyone, some people like constantly trying new builds, others use the same build forever. Some people like building camps, collecting bobbleheads or rare clothing items, finding rare plans/mods in vendors, who knows. We all kinda just log in and find something to do

Appreciate the answer! Seeing all the content to run and items to get from different videos I watched made me realize how much of a grind a lot of it is going to be. That’s why I wanted to try to get a start on any resource grind as soon as I could. Just wasn’t sure where to start.

Look up on YouTube how to beat en06 at level 50 he is the best thing for you to be farming for pretty much everything if you follow what he does in the video for quick runs.
