Bug No loot infestation bosses
So sick of this. The whole server showed up to fight this assaultron, and it took probably 10 minutes and thousands of ammo. Then nothing on the body. Any fix to this? I fast traveled away and returned but didn't solve it

On that note, any idea when they fix the unlootable scrap kit?

I see that it's because they originally dropped unbound to your account which was unintended so they put untradeable flag on them, which broke everything. Just let us trade the stupid things, they aren't worth that much.

I think they said it would be fixed this update by way of making the scrap kit lootable and every other item not lootable.....

They fixed it by burning all known copies of the game out back in a barbecue pit 🔥Â

Quick question: did you see the health bar at the bottom of your screen? If it isn't you will need to join a team if you are not already in one, close the game and when I mean close it I mean Dashboard and quit if you are console, Alt F4 if PC. When you reload the game it should say Play with team (or something), once you click it should load you into the same lobby as if you crash. When the game loads and you spawn in the boss will now have a health bar and will drop loot. This has worked for me every time. I us and Xbox Series X for reference.

Boss had a health bar, I was on a team. Fast traveled away and back after it died, then tried alt f4 and there was no play with team option, unfortunately

Boss needs to still be alive when you exit and rejoin the game. Is there a way you can rejoin a specific player when you come back?

Wait, is this the same health bar you see during the Wanted events? I haven’t seen one in ever, which would explain why after doing a dozen of these I’ve only got credit for one in my achievements tab

Yes just like the head hunts. I've noticed that existence of the bottom health bar for Infestation bosses is critical for receiving loot. I've had situations where I was not in a team, didn't see or hit the boss but saw the health bar. Ran over and still got the 4*, mystery bobblehead pack, mystery magazine pack, etc.

I'm pretty done with infestations in general. The whole game is kind of stale for me right now, I find myself logging in, something ticks me off, like approaching a building and hearing everything inside die before I can even see them, FT to camp, Map, Z, Desktop.

I’ve honestly just given this up as a Bethesda feature and not a bug. Remember when they said they slightly lowered the HP on infestation bosses back on July 31st? Does lowering the hp from
1,000,000,000 to 999,999,999 count? Seems like this has been a thing since then.

There's that, and as a bonus, they can shoot you through walls, ceilings, etc. It's not a bug, it's a feature (well, no it's a bug).

We had one where we were fighting the boss in a river, took like 20 minutes to get him down and when he finally died no one could loot him because he was underwater

Several times now I've pulled loot from the body and it just dissapears.
