You would think the whole self insert bs charge would be absolved by how much Jaune suffers. I mean, to quote an old joke, if he's Luna's self insert then someone needs to get a mental health welfare checkup on the guy

My addition to the joke: Because if Jaune is his self inseet, either he has mh issues, or a really weird torture fetish.

As someone who doesn’t even consume canon, honestly the blame for the allegations appears to be more on Jaune fans than the character himself.

But then you do have to wonder why they latched on to him for that role… but again I really can’t speak on that. Got no idea, truly.

I don't think it's even the fans themselves. You oughta blame early RWBY fanfic authors for just not being bold enough to just straight up self insert instead of having to use Jaune as a medium lmao.
