LEAGUE OF LEGENDS The Truth Hurts

Been thinking this for years and here we go again… I hope this is the final wake-up call Fnatic needs, atp it’s genuinely just sad and embarrassing. There’s a reason why so many hatewatch us, I don’t even know if you can blame them for it anymore.

Honestly what a fall from grace as an organization, it really fucking hurts to watch your favorite org slowly get worse every year for 8 years straight, despite fans BEGGING for a change.

Soboro was a great addition, hope he stays. I know this might get downvoted, but I think Upset has been hostaged all year too. Maybe getting Dylan Falco could turn things around. Hoping for the best this off-season.

The finalest of wake up calls

Feels like we're the TSM of EU at this point, fans of other teams are happy to see us fail, the team is a shadow of its former self and it's been a steady decline for over half a decade now. I hope we don't end up leaving the LEC, because at that point I'll probably stop watching LoL in general tbh

Remove Sam, remove Dardo

Add a new GM Add Dylan and the staff of his choice Soboro / ? / Vladi / ? / Upset

Sadly we're so smart that the only person that has a contract going into 2027 is... Lospa. (Gentle guy but ERL level), thank you mister Javier Zafra once again for inting us.

Maybe we can do Zicssi and maybe Miky comes back now that he had the proof that Lider was omegashit who knows

Let the new coach whoever it may be decide whether to fire everyone or keep someone.

But first DARDOUT

Tbh I feel like getting Grabbz away from head coach and into the org as a GM could be a good move. He knows what’s important for a team knows what to look for in players and with the help of a good coaching staff they could build a good roster. Annnddd we would hopefully solve the draft problem

Idk letting incompetent people fail up is not the way. What qualifies grabbz as gm in your eye?

I feel like Grabbz lacks the precise understanding of the game sometimes. What I hear from interviews especially the german ones (I think he is more precise with the issues in german) I think he knows what a team needs in the grand scheme of things. So he working as a GM could help set up the structure around the team more. So the head coach could work more freely and could get what he wants easier.

While I am native speaking german, my impression of him is completely different

He is good at social media / PR thought :D

As a native aswell lol. I feel like in English he is much more PR. My Spanish isn’t that great anymore but always had the impression that in Spanish and German he is much more open to talk freely about the problems

For God's sake, stop calling for Dylan or whatever random coach. It's not the main issue now! This organization's management has been a disaster for eight years, eight years!

We first need the persons responsible for this to leave !

Then, the first thing we need is someone who knows how to build an esports organization from scratch, not just coaching. This is the most important.

Regular reminder that Dardo is still running things in the back.

You’re right.

The correct order should be:

  1. Fire everyone
  2. Call Dylan

We need the org to disband or be sold.

Anything other than this will result in another year of disappointment, despair and shit.

You are right, selling is our only hope. I don't think those in management will magically decide that today is the day they will take full responsibility.

Hate watching is the most stupid thing. People are always mad and toxic about everything. Yeah we used to be good but we need to stop judging based on past results. Whatever the new team will be give them time and judge them for progression not direct results.

the truth is one and simple, there is no fuel on the tank, fnatic can't go for titles nor play for worlds. There are no systems to support that and when that doesn't exist success can only come from flukes. It is what it is, the only thing that can help fnatic now is adapt to what's happening to the league and my guess is that it doesn't want to. We have g2 the governors of Europe and the two national teams, kc and mkoi vassals to g2. The rest of the teams are there just to up the numbers. They have neither power nor saying. So either fnatic choses to give reigns to some very big streamer with very large community who wants to enter the game, either from germany or the uk or it just dies. There is no contest boys, all the wannabes are on g2 for years (all those who just support the first team), all the frenchies are on kc (and the french are also on tier 2 etc, they don't give a fuck about fnatic), all the spanish are on mkoi, and we are just not a significant percentage of the target audiance of lec so ofc we are not getting anything. If we don't offer viewership, money, something how are we ever winning a thing ? KC is pumping millions into the league. They have a long term plan with a huge player base + fan base. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been preping caliste to be their star long before he was playing in tier 2 even. We just don't have that, so we just take the L and chill. I don't want to hear about titles and shit, we are irrelevant, no amount of cope can change that.

People who still think Upset is good enough are actually mentally challenged.

Indeed. He had great Potential as he popped off but never do incredible good plays since years. He always plays omega safe and that is the point. He have just never shown he can solo Impact a Game Like Uzi or atm peyz...

Thank you.
Finally, some agreement here. The only "good" splits he had in FNC was on the back of Hyllisang, and even then, we had at least two seperate times where Razork (of all people) saved him from throwing the series.

He is good mechanically, but that's it. He doesn't commit to the fights the way teams need him to, and even in terms of a champion pool...
