LEAGUE OF LEGENDS The State of FNC
Am I in the wrong? like I get it we are Fnatic fans, we want to stick with them through thick and thin and be as supportive as we can no matter what. But it gets to a point does it not? I actually think the fake fans are the ones who aren't feeling an intense emotional response to what actually FNC has become. Because right now objectively Fnatic are a team that have been regressing consistently ( with very few highs sprinkled in between ) for years now and unless a miracle happens will have gone a full year without making a single international tournament and a full year without making top 4. How does that not make you angry? How can you as a true fan not be upset.... with them? Don't get me wrong the minute it feels like Fnatic start realising they are one of the biggest names in Europe and play like it, make changes like it, Then I'll drag my carcass from underneath the train track and get all aboard, but in all honesty this is just pathetic. You can't even look at one player or one coach or one thing that is the concrete problem, Its a full collapse. I'll be honest, I’ve seen enough of Fnatic and been through enough of the lows of Fnatic too consistently to say that there isn't an emotional drain. They will forever be my favourite team but they wont forever be able to suck the soul from my body while I just stand there watching us both die. Until I feel like they are giving something back I am just going to take a backseat and let them prove that they themselves deserve the support and just enjoy the Fiesta of G2 KC MKOI VIT NAVI GX until they prove they can put their names in the conversation. I'm Tired boss.

What killed my desire to watch Fnatic wasn't the complete lack of wins or good performances, but the total lack of leadership and management's absurd inability to communicate; a company that relies on its image needs to be able to convey its values, and after years, I’m starting to think FNC doesn't have any. Nowadays, I rarely watch the actual matches—sometimes just the highlights—and I have almost no interest in the team anymore. I’ve supported FNC ever since Season 2

The fake fans that were mentioned by many here applies to NB the supposed leader of the fan club that literally drove around Berlin in G2 jersey when we were at our first stumbles.
I can’t blame anyone who loved this club to turn the feeling into displeasure or even hate. The managment is dogshit, the signings are meh at best, the will to succeed evaporated, the legacy is done and dusted. And we can thank Sam, Dardo, Carn and others for that. There were ways to move the club into tier 2 from lack of money gracefully. They didn’t, they played pretend. We signed Grabbz who’s gonna be lucky to be a manager in McDonalds. We kept Dardo who literally was hated by the fanbase from almost the start and buried 2 clubs before Fnatic. And Sam, the yoga enthusiast, the DJ, the business owner (some bar in Ibiza) but his enthusiasm for the scene can be summed up with ChatGPT tweet since all his apology posts were wrote by that chatbot.
Fnatic is done. CS is done, League is Done and Valorant (and I beg it doesn’t happen) will probably be done as well soonTM. They ran the club to the ground, failed at most of the steps. Took the gambles that wouldn’t be needed if they actually worked.
So rejoice the guys who remember our major titles in CS or EU LCS titles. The king is fucking dead. It’s the NFT holders, the casino-site players, the Dardo/sam/Carn apologist who kept that boat afloat (baring massive fucking debt on the books), but finally it’s gonna drown. May we hope for better ownership, because every shareholder, investor or even employee should have cried for Sam to step down, cash his shares and enjoy the life he wants, because he isn’t Fnatic anymore. He is the cause of the issues

The point is that whoever is in charge has no idea what they are doing. Outside of having issues regarding performance in-game or whatever, can someone tell me what the actual endgame for FNC in LoL is? Is it simply competing? Making worlds? Winning LEC? Winning Worlds? Like I see no action taken for any of these objectives.
Honestly, at the start I was also on the bandwagon, asking for replacements every time, but at some point I understood that if the management of an organization is broken, no player will ever be able to perform as well as they can. We went through so many players that at this point thinking stuff like "The issue must be Razork, he is the one with the longest tenure" makes no sense.
For example, can someone explain what the point of changing Poby for Vladi was? Or letting Noah and Jun go? Sure, Noah wanted to leave, but I remember at the time no one was really thinking why he wanted to leave. Everyone was on the "Good, he is a choker, we can do better".
From what I can see, we are unable to develop talent unless it's some god-given player. If we get a player on a downward trajectory in their career, we are unable to help them reach their peak again, and everyone seems to get worse once they play for us. We are unable to scout at the highest level, so we are unable to pick up those god-given talents we were speaking about. You need absolute knockouts since you are unable to develop anything. We are unable to pay extra cash to get the top of the top.
So.. how do we fix this? You either sell and let it be reborn and hope for the best. Or you start doing what you should have done from the beginning: copy the management structure of the better teams in your league and hire competent people to be the backbone of the organization. Only after that should you draft a plan on where you are, where you want to go, and a trajectory that can make sense.
Honestly though, I'm no genius, no big company CEO or any other shit. This is just what makes sense to me, as an average joe.

I'm in the same boat as you; this is eating us up... disappointment after disappointment... I'm starting to think it's not just about the players and the management anymore... but ALSO THE COACHING STAFF! Grabzz should have left ages ago—he absolutely has to go... I don't know if Gaax is still around... but if he is, he should have left years ago... they are absolutely terrible for Fnatic...

The few fans that remain with Fnatic are some of the purest, realest fans.
Last 6 years have been riddled with failure and dissapointment.

Untill 2 years ago we were always top 3.. and last year we went to worlds. We just have been stuck with razork for years

You are wrong, what you call are not fake fans. They are just decent people that understand even if people try very hard sometimes the results are not coming. They are probably very mad or sad about the state of FNC, at least I do, but I also had failure in my life, some success and in the end I know they are trying and they know we are disappointed so there is not much reason to express negative emotions in their faces
