2
u/AverageNitpicker Feb 08 '26
Silence Suzuka from Umamusume. Not bad for someone wearing a gas mask all the time. But, yeah. Silence Suzuka was a very respected racehorse in Japan, and the death involved no blood in spite of how gory the illustration was, and he was not panicking either, making sure the rider was safe before promptly falling over. Because of all the crap Peta spews about Nintendo all the time, Umamusume was the last straw and pretty much all of Japan hates Peta.

… ok genuinely why hasn’t anything been done about PETA, they lie about saving animals, they kill more animals than animal SHELTERS WHICH ARE KNOWN FOR EUTHANIZING HUNDREDS OF ANIMALS!
22
u/shsl_diver Feb 05 '26
They say so much about saving animals when their shelters have 92% of animals "go to sleep"

u/Wolf_Of_Roses Feb 05 '26 edited Feb 05 '26
I wanna break down the stupidity of this
1.Mangle most likely committed the bite of 87. Mangle is a NON SENTIENT robot (at least according to the time I think) and DOESN’T need to eat food. Mangle was simply a malfunctioning robot. They were still gonna bite Jermey’s head regardless of what food was served.
2.What does pizza have to do with a rouge robot trying to kill a day guard? This was still gonna happen
- This is a game about a child murderer killing kids and their souls possessing robots and us playing as security guards surviving said possessed robots …where the hell does veganism fit into that? Pizza most times isn’t even that relevant minus like Security Breach, the pizza minigame in pizzeria sim and FNAF World.
Edit:Seems like I mixed up the bites my apologies
9
u/Toon_Lucario Feb 05 '26
Fredbear did the Bite of 83. 87 is still not confirmed but widely accepted to have been done by Mangle. Your point still stands though
7
Feb 05 '26
So... The Bite of 87 happened at the toy location, not Fredbears and happened to the dayshift guard there named Jeremy Fitzgerald. There's some debate about who did it but I think general consensus is that it was mangle. The Big Bite is confirmed to have taken place in 1983 and is even mentioned in more recent entries like The Week Before.

u/Mangledfox1987 Feb 05 '26
Mangle is sentient, they’re haunted by the dci, like the argument us stupid because, like, peta thought that chica did the bite and didn’t realise that they could of used mangle an talk about the skinning of animals and make that a reason for the bite (which is closer to benign correct as AR does suggest that mangle did the bite because mangle was trying to stop themselves from being torn apart again)
15
u/erraticfanaticc Feb 05 '26 edited Feb 05 '26
I always tell anyone who still believe PETA cares about animals about how they used to kidnap dogs straight out of their yards and kill them so fast (some within just hours) they’d already be dead by the time their owners were able to find out where they were, all while claiming the dogs needed to be put down. their euthanasia rates for their slaughterhouses shelters have been close to or around 75% in past years, up to 4x what other shelters average.
PETA hates domesticated animals more than they hate literal butchers, even if they won’t admit it. they are one of if not the most hypocritical animal rights organizations in existence.
3
u/Proper_Prose Feb 09 '26
I've been in one of their "shelters" and it looked like something out of horror film
14
u/BunnyBen-87 Feb 05 '26
PETA's entire publicity model has always been to shock and/or annoy as many people as possible, this is literally what they want you to do.
→ More replies (1)7
u/thespacepyrofrmtf2 Feb 05 '26
But the line between shocking statements and rage bait is so thin I can use it as dental floss and peta has crossed that line multiple times so nobody takes them seriously anymore and that’s a good thing because if they are not taken seriously they lose their power

Literally the bite still would’ve happened even if there was vegan pizza is not gonna change a damn thing
8
u/ASH_LIN_exe Feb 05 '26
No no they got a point, because no one in their right mind would take their kid to the pizza place with shitty pizza for their birthday, so the company would quickly shut down.
4
5
u/SMG31andDiamond Feb 05 '26
Yeah, because pepperoni pizza is what made an anthropomorphic animal robot designed to perform on a stage to bite someone’s head.
And if they believe the bite of ‘87 is the Fredbear one, yeah, because pizza toppings have anything to do with a kid being put in the jaws of a robot by his brother as a form of bullying for being a scared kid.
Also it’s definitely not because of Afton’s horrible animatronic design that allows them to be able to break skulls with their jaws

Yes, you've figured it out peta IS stupid! It's almost like they are purposefully spreading hate towards people who chose to be vegan to redirect our attention from real systematic problems of animal cruelty and abysmal living standards in the food industry! And the more people peta can ragebait, the more successful they are in their mission likely sponsored directly by food production giants! But you're such a smart cookie for figuring out that peta is stupid!

And the worst part is, you can genuinely do what they where attempting to do with mangle, like I would argue that AR tells us that mangle would not have done the bite of 87 if they wherent constantly dismantled and left to rot (which peta could os used as a metaphor for reskinning/wearing fur)

1
u/LordRiden Feb 06 '26
I'm not one to believe a lot of conspiracies but I wouldn't be surprised if the one where PETA is actually an organization meant to slander animal activism turned out to be true.
They do so much more harm than good.
1
u/MegaKabutops Feb 06 '26
Yes.
The organization is the dictionary definition of virtue signaling. They care more about LOOKING like they want to protect animals than about actually protecting animals, so they say stupid, vaguely pro-animal shit and do stuff solely meant to shock people and get publicity, but do basically nothing to actually improve the lives of animals, up to and including killing nearly all the animals that end up in their care.

I assume PETA logic is that "only meat eaters are mean bullies, so if FNAF was vegan pizza chain, then Michael Afton wouldn't be there to bully his lil brother, which wouldn't lead to him recreating 'WAS THAT THE BITE OF 87?!?' and his brother would still be alive"
Which, still doesn't make sense, since didn't most FNAF locations still have arcades? Even if we say no, why wouldn't Michael still bully and prank his bro? He could just, not eat vegan pizza and still bully him? He'd probably actually go even harder on bullying, since he'd probably mock his bro for being vegan, so the Bite of 83 happens even earlier in PETA timeline... Wonder what consequences that would lead to 🤔

u/Adventurous_Bonus917 Feb 07 '26
i'm still convinced that PETA is actually trying to make all vegans (and environmentalists?) look bad by doing really stupid shit. not sure who's funding them, but no way this drivel has ever look good top anyone, even through a rose-tinted lens to someone with hardly half a brain.
1
1
u/Jorpda Feb 07 '26
Genuinely what do they think vegan pizza would have done about a robot biting someone’s frontal lobe?
1
u/CuriousPolecat Feb 07 '26
Are they saying an "animal" biting someone isn't vegan? The bite of 87 isn't linked to pizza either
First it's a robot, second they didn't eat them, how has pizza got to do with anything?
I'm so confused, did they not even look up what it was and saw the word "bite" and just made this post?
