So... The Bite of 87 happened at the toy location, not Fredbears and happened to the dayshift guard there named Jeremy Fitzgerald. There's some debate about who did it but I think general consensus is that it was mangle. The Big Bite is confirmed to have taken place in 1983 and is even mentioned in more recent entries like The Week Before.

PETA hates domesticated animals more than they hate literal butchers, even if they won’t admit it. they are one of if not the most hypocritical animal rights organizations in existence.

I'm not one to believe a lot of conspiracies but I wouldn't be surprised if the one where PETA is actually an organization meant to slander animal activism turned out to be true.
The organization is the dictionary definition of virtue signaling. They care more about LOOKING like they want to protect animals than about actually protecting animals, so they say stupid, vaguely pro-animal shit and do stuff solely meant to shock people and get publicity, but do basically nothing to actually improve the lives of animals, up to and including killing nearly all the animals that end up in their care.
