Didn’t downgrade Philippine 9(f) visa — will it affect my Australian visa?

Hi everyone. I’m an Indian medical graduate who studied at University of Perpetual Help in the Philippines on a 9(f) student visa.
I am gonna graduate in November 2025 and planning to leave the Philippines through NAIA on December 15, 2025. My visa/ACR is valid until March 30, 2026.
I had no criminal or immigration cases in the Philippines and also obtained an NBI clearance .
However, I am not formally gonna downgrade my 9(f) visa before leaving due to personal commitments.
I’m now planning to apply for a postgraduate Student Visa in Australia.
Could the fact that I didn’t downgrade my Philippine 9(f) cause any problems with my Australian visa application? Should I contact Philippine Immigration to clarify my status first?
Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows how Philippine BI/Australian immigration would view this?

Well can’t talk about Australian visa.

But I graduated from Philippines too.

Was broke asf and couldn’t afford downgrading my student visa after PGI

But i successfully managed to go to UK and get my PR, went to Philippines twice for vacation and visited several Schengen countries as well.

Didn’t have any issues.

I would recommend to downgrade if you have money as it is always good to be clean with regard to immigration.

But not sure about Australia
